Britt Hume just said "You have the feeling you are watching a man who is not quite what he was, nor quite what he will be."

Notice how bored Hillary looked during Bush's speech. And, how Chuckie Schumer was eager to shake Bush's hand afterward but Hillary was no where to be seen?
She watched as her 2004 hopes evaporated. No compassion for New York, just self-focused indignation at being upstaged.

I am just stunned. I honestly believe he is a man of destiny.
Kristol is whining because Bush didn't say there would be casualties.......does he think WE can't figure that out?

Kristol just had to say something negative...said Bush should have said we'd lose lives ......
I think the American people understood that from the serious tone of his speech.

To be honest, I didn't think W was capable of making a speech that good. That squinty stern look is working well for him. Gravitas.

I am so proud. I am so happy to be an American Military Cadet. I was crying. I am so touched. Worse yet, the peaceniks at Northwestern are planning huge rallies, my week will get very interesting. But, I get support from many working americans (consturction workers honking and cheering). This is a great time to be an American and I am hoping my generation takes it and runs, If we embrace this cause, perhaps we can show ourselves as honourable americans able to follow the greatest generation.
To: Howlin
I have never felt so proud....... just speechless.
To: Howlin
I missed the begining, is it being re-broadcast somewhere?
To: Howlin
With the exception of a few nutjobs, everybody is on board with Bush.......
The media is drooling with praise for this speech.
To: Dog
The Gores are history. They will be so depressed, Tipper will now grow a beard. heh heh

Kristol is whining because Bush didn't say there would be casualties....... Kristol is wrong. Bush said this won't be like Kosovo where we lost 0 troops to combat. I took that to mean there will be casulties.
