Slick's emotions are as shallow as a mud puddle after a 2 minute rain.

To be more precise, his projected emotions are shallow.

He does have deep emotions, and people who knew him in the White House were well aware of his explosive temper. And of course, a man who rapes and gropes women while running for high elective office is no cold fish. He is a man whose uncontrollable passions are on the verge of destroying his life.

His true emotions are very powerful -- and very negative. What he's mastered is the skill of putting a cloak over them in public. We seldom see his true face.

You are absolutely correct. I guess what I meant were those emotions which show caring, concern, kindness... and as you pointed out, they are all for show and not true emotions.

Your comments reminded me of the report Paul Sperry gave of his encounter at the White House function for the media. He asked a pointed question of Slick as he came down the line of reporters glad-handing them and Slick became furious and turned beet-red. Sperry was banned from any other White House functions. Those are Slick's only true emotions... all negative as you pointed out.
