Speaking with a forked tongue... I believe they are saying these things because they feel they have too....for the time being. It will be short.

I think that's fair. There should be a political cease-fire for the time being. Bush shouldn't try any sneaky enviromental manuevers while the nation is distracted, nor should these bozos criticize him on the environment for the duration.

Dissent does not equal treason. Questioning Bush policies on the terrorist response is one thing (and something that ought to be done, and is done by the "nuke'em" crowd as well as "peace and love" crowd). But questioning his environmental policies has nothing to do with "rallying" behind the administration in times of war. Those policies are still being imposed, and have nothing to do with the administration's response to the terrible events of 9/11.

Tonight, the CBS boys, Letterman and Rather had a sobfest. Letterman is a better actor than Rather. Dan was rather pathetic, referring to his own blubbering twice. He had to cry twice, because he couldn't sell the first sob session.
In the meantime, he referred to Bush as being, "Guilliani-esque." He referred several times, (without monday morning quarterbacking by his own suggestion,) that Bush Sr failed to go all the way and get Saddam Hussein. He criticized the CIA, but he's a loyal American...see he cried!
Who am I, to expect a liberal fond of his Tex-isms, to admit that his love for Guilliani is less than 24 hours old; that Bush's ability to "go all the way to get Saddam" was limited by the coalition of Arab nations and that his idol, Clinton had eight years to get Bin Laden, but the CIA was effectively hamstrung by red tape thanks to Benedict Torricelli?
Reagan proved that the real "B" grade actors are liberals acting like leaders, or communists faking a good cry so that gullible Americans might mistake them for being patriotic.
PS Hey Dave, if that little town in MT broke you up so much, why don't you reciprocate by crying for Klamath Falls, Oregon farmers who are being terrorized by commie eco bureaucrats?

The bombing has made me see the term 'Eco-Terrorist' in a whole new horrifying light. They are scum, the lowest of the low whose noses verily sniff the arse of Muhogwash.
