Suppose I had a cousin living with me. And my cousin starts unlocking all my doors and windows. He deactivates my alarm system. He starts hanging out with friends of people who have publicly stated that they intend to kill me. He takes money out of my dresser drawer and funnels it back to the same people. He prevents me from talking to anyone who would know the exact plans that my enemies are laying out for me. He takes all of my ammo for my guns. He leaves the house.
Soon, my enemies come over to my house and shoot my windows, and yell that they're going to come back later and shoot me. My cousin shows up and starts saying, "Here's what you ought to do...."
You're saying that not only should I allow my cousin to remain in my house ("For the sake of the family"), but that I should completely ignore his role in the attack on my house?
Ludicrous.
Focus, man, focus.
By what objective standards is Clinton the worst president ever? What are the facts (not accusations) to support that statement?
How is Clinton a criminal? What specific crimes did he commit? Where is the damning evidence? How come Clinton was never charged as a criminal? He was investigated more than any man in history, so if he committed some crimes, they have to be a matter of record by now. So where are the indictments?
Unjustly accusing someone of something bad is easy, though evil, to do. Satan stands by the throne and lies about each one of us to Abba every day. Accusation is meaningless meanness unless there is also proof of guilt. So where is the evidence, the indictments, the complaints, the charges of crime against Clinton?
If there are no indictments, no charges, no evidence, then there are no crimes. Which makes calling Clinton a criminal a slanderous, evil thing to do.
As to rape, I studied the case and listened to Juanita's tearful testimony. Then I got down my Bible and sought the Lord's opinion. He told me that under these circumstances, no rape occured. Which meant that Clinton wasn't a rapist and should never be called one.
I don't know what "crown jewels of our nuclear arsenal" means, but it doesn't matter, because Clinton neither sold nor gave away any nuclear secrets. One of the many things he was investigated for was being in on an illegal and unethical deal to transfer missle technology to China through Loral, but once it was looked iunto, that charge evaporated. Went poof! There was nothing to it.
However, it is true that the president allowed top-secret U.S. missle technology fall into Chinese hands. But it was a different president; one named Bush.
Other than that, I agree with everything you said.
Even though you have no value on this forum, I still hope that Bill Clinton never does to your or your daughter what he did to Juanita. Even you don't deserve it.
Now is the time to expose what he's done (and the Pantsuit with him), now when Americans are grieving, smarting with anger, full of resolve and asking 'How did this happen?' Now is when people are most willing to look at what led to this catastrophe and demand justice at home, too.
The media calling Tuesday 9/11 "Attack on America" are only partly right. It is the most recent, the most visible attack, but your list shows that it's only the latest in a long string of attacks on America, many hidden and orchestrated from the White House.
To extend the burning house analogy, we must deal with the perpetrator as part of putting out the fire. We need to expose him, his accomplices, and their actions before the next fuses are lit. People need to know that a full inquiry into the last presidency must be made so that we can assess the damage and dangers before we rely on systems and structures that have been compromised.
Case in point: Watching C-Span this morning, I saw part of a hearing where the president of the American Steel Workers was explaining that American steel is being ruined by foreign imports encouraged by the gov't. for the past 5 years. The U.S. now imports more steel than it produces, which not only is wrecking steel workers but also diminishing our capacity to manufacture steel. Worse, this makes us dependent on foreign suppliers, which is a national security issue, especially now as we are preparing for war.
We just don't have the luxury of doing one thing at a time. Kinda like stopping one hijacked flight when others are still in the air--ya know?
Anyway, thanks again, and I hope this runs to Thread 2.
As it turned out, he did lie, and under oath.
