JUDICIAL WATCH BLAMES PRESIDENT BUSH FOR TERRORIST ATTACKS --Promises Investigation (mine)

GOVERNMENT INCOMPETENCE, LACK OF HONESTY WITH AMERICAN PEOPLE LEAD TO TERRORIST DISASTERS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

(Washington, DC, September 12, 2001) Larry Klayman, Chairman and General Counsel of Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today issued the following statement concerning the horrific terrorist attack on the United States, on a day – September 11, 2001 – that, even more than Pearl Harbor, will live in infamy.

“It is now apparent – given the near total lack of security at U.S. airports and elsewhere – that the U.S. government has not been forthright with the American people. During the last eight years of scandal during the Clinton administration, and the first eight months of the Bush Administration, reports this morning confirm that little to nothing was done to secure our nation’s airports and transportation systems as a whole – despite warnings.”

“Instead, cosmetic reform of education, social security, taxes, and other less important issues were given precedence. In addition, the American people were lead to believe that appropriate anti-terrorist counter measures were being taken. Instead of telling the truth so the problems could be addressed, politicians painted a rosy picture in order to be elected and re-elected.”

“Judicial Watch will use its investigative powers to look into the obvious breach of the people’s trust by a government which should not only have been candid, but also have taken steps to defend them.”

“Judicial Watch offers it condolences and sympathy to the dead and wounded, and their families, and prays that the nation will overcome this tragedy,” Klayman added.

D, you are being very fair to JW and I respect you for that, but from your post, I believe that YOU know a lot more about what should be investigated than Larry Klayman.

Take a good look at what he's saying in his press release. It reads like every one of his other ones. Tantalizing headlines, followed by no facts or direction.

Judicial Watch will use its investigative powers to look into the obvious breach of the people’s trust by a government which should not only have been candid, but also have taken steps to defend them.”

That could mean ANYTHING! He's soliciting funds IMO and has been for the past year or so. How can he be investigating EVERY news story? The CA energy problem, Condit, Cheney, Bush, the Clintons, and everyone else except you and I.

Whoops, watch me get a subpoena in the mail tomorrow. LOL

Would you consider pulling any future threads of Judicial Watch? Larry Klayman has violated all bounds of decency with this latest advertisement.

Even I didn't think he would go this low! I never even gave it a thought he would put out a release like this. Goes to show he is a lower skunk than I thought!

The only one conducting business as usual here is you and the sunshine Patriot.

No time for politics now.

I don't think he really cares about getting these guys,

That's a bit much, in fact more than a bit. Perhaps you prefer Clinton's more on the sleeve ersatz emotive style. Myself, I prefer the Clint Eastwood style.

Does Larry NOT turn on the TV and see that America is united behind the evil force that has attacked us? This is really incredible, and I wonder how many freepers thought that they might agree with the words of Schumer and Nadler, this day.... and then come here to read Klayman. Larry is a very sick man......

>They should change their name to Judicial Snit.<

Or Judicial Slut.

He is always whoring after money and never accomplishes anything. Although I am not going to do the research necessary to document my suspicisions, I rather believe that all of the things he claims to have brought out into the public limelight were first exposed here on FR. I could be wrong, but it sure seems like it.

You are talking just like my boss did this morning, he judges Presidents by their speeches, Bill Clinton gave a wonderful speech after the attack on the USS Cole, he must have been a great President.

Yesterday's attack took months, perhaps even years to plan, and the weapon used against us was Freedom, they used our Freedom to attack us.

We can now either destroy them and protect our Freedom, or give up that Freedom and feel a false sense of safety. I say "false sense" becuase we will never be both safe and free, it's impossible.

"Instead, cosmetic reform of education, social security, taxes, and other less important issues were given precedence. "

I find it ironic that Klayman blames the President for wasting time on issues like taxes, education, and social security, when he has been complaining about the administration not spending enough time investigating Clinton's old campaign violations and suicide cases. Sometimes you just can't win for losing.

This deal by Klayman reaches an all-time low even for him! I wish someone would investigate him!

If I know Bush

Every time you post you not only prove that you do NOT know Bush, but you can't even comprehend facts right in front of you.

Like I have been posting for months, many of these nonprofits are strictly in business to enrich their "handlers". It's time for us to look at drastically reducing the number of nonprofits operating in America. They currently number approx. 700,000. That's a lot of groups feeding off the taxpayers. And these groups DO feed off the taxpayers.

This tragedy is separating the "men from the boys," IMO. The REAL patriots, regardless of their politics, are banding together to stand with the POTUS, regardless of who he is.

The FAKE patriots, the ones who have to continually TELL US that they are patriots, are showing their true colors, IMO.

"He's intent on creating more porous borders to exacerbatre the problem."

Are you saying that the terrorists illegally entered the U.S.? I hadn't heard that before.

Or are you saying that no visas should be granted to Muslims?

. There is some concern that some of the crews could have slipped some of the razor blade cutters and knives on board.

This is very interesting D1. I was reading something yesterday about how easy it is for airport workers to slip by security. They are NOT checked out hardly at all, just show their pass.

How many of those people you see out side the plane before you take off are paid anything substanital, and how easy do you think it would be to be bought off.

Plus, it would be very easy for terroists to get those jobs. Months before anything is planned to happen.

They could work for catering company or work cleaning the plane and could plant weapons on the planes.

Today the FAA or what ever their alaphabet title is made dozens of new rules that will NOT help at all.

Just for symbolism...what we need is sky marshalls...right away...they have guns with bullets that won't penetrate the fusealage.

I've been thinking for some time now that Larry has interest in a 3rd Party political position. Especially since Russ Verney went to JW.
