The Republicans need to run an OLy North Campaign Slogan I heard last night on Hannity and Colmes... What do you think: ANY ELECTED OFFICIAL WHO IS SUSPECTED OF BREAKING THE PUBLIC TRUST, THEIR OATH OF OFFICE OR THE LAW HAS TO UNDER GO REVIEW BY THE APPROPIATE LEGAL AUTHORITY. THE REVIEW SHALL BE IMMEDIATE AND MANDITORY WHETHER THE OFFICIAL IS IN OR OUT OF OFFICE and SHALL APPLY TO ALL WHO HAVE HELD OFFICE IN THE PREVIUOS 7 YEARS. IF FOUND GUILTY THE OFFICIAL LOSES HIS/HER PENSION as well as ALL OTHER PERKS NORMALLY OFFORDED AN HONORABLE RETIREMENT FROM ELECTED OFFICE. Could this be worth pursuing or is a mechanism like this in the Constitution already? It's just an idea but obviously something needs to be done to revive the ethics of our elected officials. I know, what a PIPE DREAM.
