This is to let you in Washington know that there is a large and growing circle of family and friends of TED MAHER becoming ever more concerned that you act on his behalf.
While Monaco's Director of Juridical Affairs Patrice Davost attempted a royal snow job with his recent--and very tardy--response to the previous queries of Sue Kelly and Ben Gilman, it's clear that M. Davost is full of compost.
It is a fact that innocent American citizen TED MAHER is spending his 644th day without trial in a foreign prison, and continues to be deprived of access to incoming mail, freedom to write letters, even the ONE phone call per week has been suspended.
While Monaco claims Ted kicked a door, I say, please, will you on the front line of this government not act on behalf of this honorable veteran, caring and compassionate nursing professional, loyal husband and loving father AGAINST THE TOTALITARIAN REGIME WHICH EXTORTED HIS FALSE CONFESSION BY MEANS OF THREATS AGAINST HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN?
How much longer will you observe this obscene Kabuki ritual, bowing and smiling to the oily Medusa fronting for the premier money launderer of the Mediterranean?
Do you acknowledge what you have been told repeatedly: that the judge l'instruction Patricia Richet tore up letters to Ted written by his children right in front of Ted as she screamed "I know you are guilty!"?
I submit it's time for a resolute response on behalf of our outraged American brother TED MAHER.
It is time for a bipartisan, congressional resolution, a State Department protest, and the groundwork laid for a Presidential intercession on behalf of our fellow citizen whose every right under every convention has been trampled by an arrogant foreign power.
Is there at last any D.C. in decency?

Every day I receive letters like this:
What can a stay at home senior citizen do to help? I would like to show my support some way. I am a freeper and I try to keep important issues alive if I can. God be with ted and his family, as well as our other forgotten Americans. please let me know what I can do to help.

My answer to this letter was:
Hi Shirley,
Thanks for your letter & support! You can definetly help by going to the links on the latest thread for Ted & writing (better than email) to your elected officials. It is their job to work for YOU! Demand [respectfully] that they at least look into this & do what they can. You could even call your local news office & see if they can run a story on Ted, as no one else is. Say, for example, you wonder why America is doing nothing for this Veteran on foreign soil, etc. etc.
Another thing you could do is to go to the current thread 1 or 2 times a day to "Bump" it to the top so others will see it. You could also bring it up where ever you may socialize, ie- Elks, bingo, bowling, VFW, American Legion, etc. Also, you could write up a letter asking for help in the above ways- for people to contact their local elected officials & media, then keep sending that out to all in your email address book. Stuff like this is what we need. Thanks for asking, if you would like a bumper sticker just send me an address, Sincerely, Michael Maher- Ted's Brother
