When President Donald Trump promoted Stephen Miller to White House chief of staff, Democrats started fuming almost instantly. That reaction alone tells you it was a good move.
I suspect Democrats thought the fallout from the midterms would scare Trump into submission. They wanted a chastened president who would spend his final two years tiptoeing around them. Instead, Trump handed the most powerful staff job in Washington to a man they deeply despise, and they read the move as defiance.
They read it correctly.
"Donald Trump learned nothing from his historic defeat. Stephen Miller is the architect of the most barbaric, inhumane policies of this administration. Trump couldn't have made a worse choice," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) wrote on X shortly after the announcement.
"Stephen Miller is a dangerous xenophobe and reckless extremist who has American blood on his hands," House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said. "His presence in government should be eradicated like a malignant tumor. Fire him today."

Miller is impressive—and all of that is true.
The flip side is that the Democrats had a massive investigation ready for Susie Wiles.
They were going to make her two daughters lobbying firms front page news every day for the next two years.
Susie was running a pay for play scam—feeding clients to her daughters as the payoff.
The Democrats can go after her—and probably will—but getting her out of the White House will make their efforts seem like old news.

I’m sure Stephen knows they’re going to come after him for everything from corruption to treason to spitting on the street so he may as well make the next two years worth it.

I am of the opinion that Trump, the war, or affordability had nothing to do with the blue wave.
The generation of 18 – 30 year olds carried the day. And if you will recall there has been for a while much written about this segment of the population embracing socialism and putting down capitalism.
We’re dealing with an ideology driven new electorate.
I also believe this in line with a plan to remove the USA as a dominate nation in world affairs. Who has the influence, power and resources to make it happen?? I don’t know.
But I do know China is heavily invested in several hundred of our major universities and with the infusion of Chinese money they influence curriculum, faculty make-up, student activity, etc. - and minds!
Think about it!

So true. We need to get to at least some of these people. Not all of the population can reason and these are the people, likely brain washed that we, the nation, need to recover.

Miller is one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever seen. I’m thankful he’s on our side.
