So a runoff?
Well, if the fraud stands then repubs need to play the same game in spades.
Well, all votes have not been counted. And I confess, I don’t know how ranked choice voting works in this situation. Hopefully someone here can offer more information.
No Alaska has rank choice voting. Maybe the people that voted for the fake Dan Sullivan ranked the real Dan Sullivan second.
Just an absolute dirty trick.
Ranked choice favours Democrats, because during the nomination process, the Dems can jump in and choose the most RINO of the bunch, but then we are left with choosing either a Democrat or a RINO.
If the sum of Dan’s and Decoy Dan’s tallies beats the Democrat’s, we have a very serious problem.
I heard that what’s her name’s campaign illegally coordinated with a PAC to bring Decoy Dan about and some money changed hands.
If criminal charges are not brought, something is very rotten in Denmark... I mean Alaska.
“It worked didn’t it?”
_Harry Reid
Who is Gerald Heikes? He’s also listed as Republican. Without knowing anything about him, one would think most of his voters would rank OG Sullivan #2. He has 4,800 votes.
If most of decoy Dan’s votes also go to OG Sullivan as #2, the real Dan Sullivan would appear to have a several thousand vote lead.
Of course, a quarter of the total votes are still outstanding. I don’t know how the igloo dropbox vote will split. Is Alaska strict about postmarks and timely receipt of mail in ballots?
“So a runoff?”
________________________________________________________
No. With rank choice voting, the second and third votes among the candidates will come into play. Whoever gets the most ranked choice votes to break a tie is elected.
There’s no new election to save us.
Who would his voters have ranked as #2? Since he’s listed as (R), I’m guessing they would do to Dan Sullivan, which would put Sullivan ahead.
With 25 percent of the total votes still outstanding.
Ranked choice.
We’ll get the results in a month or two.
Have they announced that they’re stopping the counting to make sure they find and count all the ballots, yet?
No, they use ranked choice voting. So whoever is last gets eliminated and that person’s vtes get distributed to teh next choice. That process continues until someone has a majority.
So Alaska is California with Polar Bears and Moose?
Who dropped out? A democrat would be my guess, that allowed another republican to split incumbent Dan’s vote total more?
If the Repukes give up on this, it will be sickening.
We are turning that way. It looks like we are getting “Auntie JKT” as our governor too. Just look up that freak.
I laugh whenever anyone tells me that Alaska is a “solid red state”. We are welfare queens.
