A video of a Minnesota official telling Somali residents they can show up to vote in Tuesday’s election without being registered has prompted concerns about election integrity in the North Star State.
“If you’re already registered to vote, you don’t need to bring anything with you,” Minnesota Voter Outreach Director Melanie Hazelip can be seen saying on Somali TV.

A Republican Congress has the power to prevent this sort of thing. But they didn’t act. And so the fraud will eventually overwhelm us.

How is this news?
This has been going on for many years. Columbus (Ohio) has a large Somali population, and we did early voting one year, in 2012 IIRC. The polling location had bus loads of Somalis that were brought in from their neighborhoods, and were handed “guides” explaining who they should vote for. I remember mentioning it to the poll workers, and they told me that they were granted temporary citizenship, so they were allowed to vote. It made me mad then, and continues to aggravate me, that my vote is washed out like this.
It’s simple. If they show up to vote and they’re ineligible Trump will deport them. He has to say it.
And in the mean time, they want to throw James O’Keefe and company in prison for providing proof of their enabling of voting fraud.

How so? What were they supposed to do?
The controlling section of the Constitution is Article I Section 2:
The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.
Currently, no state allows non-citizens to vote for the members of state Houses or Assemblies, so no non-citizens may vote for Representatives for Congress, too.
This language is repeated in the 17th amendment:
The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.
This means that currently, non-citizens may not vote in federal elections for Congress.
This is ALREADY the law in Minnesota! The question isn't why the Republicans didn't act, the question is what is the recourse when a state is in violation of its own constitution, as well as the United States Constitution?
