What Early Voting Data Is Showing About the Midterm Elections

Democrats are outpacing Republicans in early ballots

Registered Democrats so far represent a larger share of early voters in the midterms than Republicans, having cast roughly 45% of early ballots compared to 31% cast by GOP voters, according to the University of Florida's Election Lab data. Another 24% of Americans who have voted early are not registered with either party.

This data is only available for the 27 states that have a formal party registration system, and signifies only the party with which a voter is registered, not the candidates selected on their ballot.

Experts caution that Democrats' higher turnout in the early vote does not guarantee they'll maintain that edge, with tens of millions more Americans still expected to show up at the polls.

Be sure to vote. This election is about the MAGA movement not a candidate. Suspend any purity test and vote for the Republican.

Vote Republican as if your life depends on it. It very well may, seeing as the Democrats are full of socialists and communists.

I am leery of early voting. I fear they will dump them. Of course, they might do that anyway, but why make it easier? Do you guys trust early voting?

BTW, I hope Trump has the chance to take Flavio Bolsanaro to his rallies to show what happens when you vote in the left.

Opinion Poll:

Should people be required to show their IDs in order to vote?

I will hold my nose and vote for Brian FitzRINOpatrick, a fake Republican. I will feel bad if he wins by one vote.

Seems like we have pretty much accepted this form of voting even though it is probably the number one way to steal an election. Why does anyone here trust that our system is on the up and up? This system is a total sham and we just accept it. The democrats installed it during COVID and it has done nothing but spread since.

What they don't tell you is that Democrats ALWAYS outpace Republicans in early voting. If anything the "outpace" is somewhat less this year than in previous cycles.

That said, Republicans need to get motivated to vote and motivate their like-minded family and friends to vote.

The trump administration is hoping it’s a slim majority. The conservative pundits who measure elections by where conservatives are campaigning and the enthusiasm by who’s putting up signs and who’s buying merch are saying the dems are looking like they are gonna blow out the republicans.

Some of that is because Trump supporters are hesitant to show their support because the know the leftists will go after them.

I'm a ‘broken glass” voter, and always have been.I've never missed a November election since becoming eligible to vote in 1972. And I won't miss this one.

Strange. I just read the opposite on another news site that said early voting was favoring Republicans:

Florida: Republicans recently overtook Democrats in total early ballots, leading by approximately 9,380 votes as of October 26.

Ohio: Data suggests a sizable estimated statewide GOP advantage in early voting.

Nevada: Republicans led statewide in early voting after the first three days, a rare occurrence in presidential-era midterms, though Democrats have since narrowed the gap.

Texas: Some models show a Republican lead because Texas does not register voters by party. The On Point Politics model estimates a R +8.1 lead among the 5 million ballots cast, while analyst E DataGuy projects a 474,000-vote ‘firewall’ for Republicans (approx. 51-57% R vs. 40-46%.”

They lying media will always favor Democrats to discourage Republicans voters.
