Why are people protesting across Europe?

Young people have been taking to the streets in countries across Europe, including Spain, France and Portugal, to protest over their unhappiness at the state of schools and the wider cost of living crisis.

In France, high school pupils have clashed with police in often violent protests over long hours, missing teachers, dilapidated classrooms and an opaque university admissions system. Pupils routinely miss months of teaching due to unfilled staff absences.

Other demonstrators have then joined student marches to voice their unhappiness about rising living costs, including over fuel prices after US bombing caused the effective closure of the strait of Hormuz.

The General Confederation of Labour (CGT), one of France’s largest unions, has backed the protests and called for lower prices, higher pensions and boosted wages.

French president Emmanuel Macron is nearing the end of his time in the Élysée Palace after serving two terms.

Over the Pyrenees in Spain, activists took to the streets in September over housing prices.

The Guardian is an endless source of humor, as they refuse to recognize the Muslim-O-phant in the room.

I don’t trust the Guardian to tell the truth. The riots began when Muslim students demanded sharia. Where’s that story, Guardian?

This effort in France is trying, as many posters on this website are doing in the lead up to the election, to demoralize the conservative vote and affect the American electorate by making people think all of this unrest is due to Trump, and Trump alone.

Why else would so many of those protesters be muslim in appearance, wearing their Palestinian kafyfiyas, and holding up signs in English?

Why would they be in English instead of French, one might reasonably ask?

That doesn’t look that it must be France or any “white” European state at all.

Muslims are not leftists. They are not ‘students’. They are not communists

They are allowed by the rules of their cult to take on any role in life, adopt any lifestyle choice, lie, cheat and steal in order to gain a particular percentage of population foothold in a country in order to take it over and THEN enforce their cult laws.

Communists have been around for a fraction of the time Islam has. Communism has failed 100%. Leftists have been around less and fail spectacularly

They will both be the first to go as Muslims burn down the government buildings then the Christian houses of worship

Anyone thinking macron will step away from his fiddle long enough to stop this is silly

The left wins at midterms, this country is next Then who will protect the world? Bolivia?

I ALWAYS ask that question.

In fact just the other week I did again to someone posting Moslems holding perfect English signs in Iran.

France previously banned the burqa and hijab. Then banned the abaya in schools during 2023.

The Guardian starts off with the mistaken assumption there are unlimited resources for schools, which the governments are somehow failing to use.

The truth is the governments in those countries have destroyed much of the incentives to create resources and have squandered much of what they took from people who did create resources.

Those societies are failing because of government actions.

The Guardian can never admit such is the case, because the Guardian’s entire premise for existence is the government knows best, and is, essentially god on earth.

The Left: We are unhappy with government services and hate the government. Let’s import millions of violent unemployable leeches that will vote for more government.
