Using flash bangs will not solve a clash of civilizations.
To placate the socialist/communists the french government should turn Versailles into a condo complex for free. I believe that would be the only right thing to do.

Domination.
How bad is the budget situation there? Are they out of options that might improve what is being protested? If yes and the current govt wants to remain, it means brutal repression and even then, no guarrantee of it working. Rumors been flying that they are out of options to paper this budget thing over.
In the clip I just viewed the gendarmes seems a tad unorganized. Running completely past masked street dwellers wearing backpacks to keep chasing other hooligans. Start cracking skulls and get serious.
It is amazing to watch the French police tactics. They just take off running after and chasing perps. It is almost like they do not have the training to advance in a lockstep phalanx and club miscreants as they overtake them. Wild chaos is the best description.

Like everywhere else, I think that the government of France simply wants to give the People someone else onto which to direct their anger, when the promises start being broken.

Bingo. Like BeijingBiden did here, he printed money to pay off “suppoters” — that is the sole cause of the affordability problem. Inflation remains until money supply shrinks. But, prices can continue to rise if competition for stuff is increased by subsidizing illegals who buy the same stuff.
Price increases do not equal or imply inflation. However, price increases can be immediately fixed by decreasing competition.
Using flash bangs will not solve a clash of civilizations..........
If the flash is bright enough and the bang big enough, the clash will end and all will be well.
