HOwdy, luvie.
It was HAWT!!! Broke 90 and it was humid. There was a little breeze but it didn’t help much.
I saw rain down your way when I got home this afternoon. WOOHOO! If the radar isn’t lyin’, there’s a little there now.

Ugh! Hot AND humid. Sounds miserable! I hope y’all had fans or those cooling cloths or both.
We had a nice little rain this afternoon. The one I saw coming this way a bit ago went south of us. *sigh* The temperature is awesome, though. Went from 85 to 79 during the rain, and it’s 71 right now. THAT will be our high tomorrow. Heavenly!

Nowhere to plug in fans there and the battery-operated fans we tried out in July are useless. I forgot my rattan fan but it’s in the car now for tomorrow. I did take my cooling cloth and that helped a little at least. What hurt is with the sun tracking farther south now, the tent doesn’t shade us as much because we’re facing south. I was drained when I got home.
Darn. The radar did lie. It showed rain over you when I looked. I’m a little freaked at the moment because a severe storm is rolling over E.G.C. and Gizmo now and it says there are wind gusts up to 70 mph with it!
What’s going through OK tonight is what’s coming through here Friday.
