... As publisher, I was forced to confront an issue I suspect that I have avoided for years. Partially as a penance for my negligence of the topic, but mainly to give these suffering souls a voice they hoped they had but were never given, I set out to do a live reading. My plan was to read live on X for two hours each day until all 1,048 pages were complete. Based on my pace, I knew that it would take at least 50 hours. I calculated that I could finish by All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, 2026.

People warned me not to attempt this, that it would be too soul crushing. My thought was that these are just words, I can read, it’s the reality we must confront, and it’s just time. I would read the book with focus and discipline. What could go wrong? I’m surely strong enough. I can face the truth like a man.

The first four days were grueling because I began to recognize the patterns of poisoning. The first entry would indicate a symptom, e.g., pressure in the ears. I began to notice where this was going: ringing in the ears, migraines, memory loss, depression, all before it moves to the back, skin, extremities, and finally lands in the heart and lungs, ending in total physical breakdown. Each report is slightly different, but the patterns are striking.

Meanwhile, the patients tell stories of being unable to dress themselves, experiencing lethargy, stopping work, being unable to drive, and having financial hardship. If they made it to the primary care physician, the result was often the same. The doctor did not know how to explain this, so he would prescribe a drug and refer the patient to a specialist. The tests would come and go and the bills would arrive, sometimes in the tens of thousands of dollars. The patient runs out of money as symptoms get worse. All the while, the person begs for a callback. It never comes.

This is not just a few cases but thousands, one after another, each different but each similar.

Commentary I’ve learned something about myself and perhaps about the human brain this past week. I can only describe what I learned as profoundly impactful at all levels: philosophical, spiritual, psychological, and physical. It can only compare to the feeling of post-traumatic stress disorder one might experience on the battlefield.

Vicarious PTSD: Who knew?

Keep in mind that the people writing were enthusiastic believers in the vaccine. They signed up for the system. They happily marched to the vaccination clinics. They were grateful to the CDC for keeping them safe. They wore masks. Many were terrified of getting COVID-19. Many had partisan biases against President Donald Trump and felt a tribal attachment to public-health demands with which they happily complied.

As a result, what we find in these thousands of small stories is a loss of trust and people’s gradual realization that they have been deceived. It is extremely difficult to see this unfold not just once, but thousands of times, over and over and over. It gets to you eventually as you read. It’s not just about showing how completely wrong the public-health advice was. What’s horrifying to read is the way lives were falling apart, one by one, in methods that ripped apart families and communities.

This is not just a few cases but thousands, one after another, each different but each similar.

The V-safe program seemed innovative at the time. It was a way for real people to report their own authentic experiences. The program was coded by the company Oracle and it did seem rather brilliant, even if the checkboxes did not include what turned out to be the main adverse effect of the shot: myocarditis and pericarditis. Nor was the system prepared to log the sheer volume of death.

It often happened that the vaccinated had died from the shot. A spouse or son or daughter would check the email and respond that the person died. But because there was no trigger in the program to stop sending emails and because no one was actually reading them, there was no way to stop the check-ins. People kept saying over and over that the person died. They would scream it. No one was listening.

Another factor to consider: The person on the receiving end had to be well enough to check email and to respond to the survey. Those who were too injured to do so simply stopped checking email and responding entirely. It is arguable, then, that they were looking at the least-bad among the cases.

I set out to read all 1,000-plus pages. After about 200, the sadness and pain began to weigh on me. I realized that it would not be possible to complete the task. It was too upsetting. I might still go back to it, get as far as I can, but taking a break is necessary. After my 10th hour, I could only sit and weep. The weeping kept coming back for several hours. That’s when I realized that the injury of others was injuring me as well

As I think more about this, I’m coming to the realization that this document might be singular in history. We’ve never held such an extensive and granular autobiographical accounting of human suffering and personal betrayal in this form, literally the most horrifying piece of nonfiction ever assembled.

I’ve read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s “The Gulag Archipelago,” and it is a masterpiece, but it is one account. This is thousands of accounts of private torture and pain, experienced in extreme isolation—not in a prison camp, but alone in a living room or bedroom. It happened all over the country and in your own town.

We cannot turn away from this. We cannot avert our eyes. I’ve read only one-fifth and still feel a burden of guilt for not having read more. I know that I should not, but I implore you to read and share with others. These are our friends, neighbors, fellow citizens, family members. These are their stories. They wrote to be heard. You can do your part in giving them voice.

Will there ever be justice for this? I’m not sure what that looks like. These lives cannot be brought back. Their legs, skin, brains, internal organs cannot be repaired and restored as good as they were before the poisons were introduced. We just have to accept it as a tragedy, one forced on millions of people. But acceptance is far better than averting our gaze and living in unknowingness.

Sometimes learning the right lessons from the stream of life requires grappling with horrifying levels of human suffering. I wish that it were otherwise, but this event did occur in our own country and to our own people. They deserve attention—and tears and a comforting hand—if nothing else.

Why Fauci MUST Rot in Prison Introducing My New Book Peter Navarro Aug 20, 2026 https://peternavarro.substack.com/p/why-fauci-must-rot-in-prison 775c90a1-c5fb-4104-b401-74029c8be3e5-1003x1500 The book is a beautiful thing. It’s built like a court case and is essentially a legal thriller. It starts with an opening argument, and it closes with exactly how to prosecute the case: every single charge to bring against Fauci and which courts to do it in. When it’s all said and done, I believe this book will be the blueprint for every AG around the country, as well as folks at the Department of Justice, as to how to go about taking Fauci down. The motivation to write Why Fauci MUST Rot in Prison dates back to the first time I met the little SOB. And the impetus for the book is the release of his 1,100-page private diary. When you juxtapose Fauci’s diary against what I wrote during the pandemic, it’s the most amazing story you’ve ever seen. Fauci’s private diary, coupled with what I was doing during the pandemic, makes the unequivocal case that Fauci should rot in prison for the rest of his life and die penniless. Here’s the setup. During the pandemic, I saw what nobody else in the West Wing, except President Trump, saw. It was clear to me that something really bad was brewing in Wuhan and that a pandemic was likely on the way. And this was months before the pandemic was declared. The Boss called me the night before a January 2020 meeting in the Situation Room and said, ‘We need the travel ban, Navarro. Go do it. You know how to do it. You know what to do.’ I walked into the iconic Situation Room in the West Wing. Anytime you go into the Situation Room, it’s a serious matter. Sitting like Little Lord Fauntleroy, chairing the meeting with his gavel, was little Mick Mulvaney, then the Acting Chief of Staff. There was Stephen Biegun, the globalist Acting Secretary of State, as well as HHS Secretary Alex Azar and head of the CDC Robert Redfield. Looking around, I was thinking that the China travel ban was going to be a tough sell. And then there was this guy sitting right across from me with these little round glasses. It was Anthony Fauci. I didn’t know who he was. Didn’t know the legacy media would prop him up as a figure who ‘walked on water.’ I didn’t know anything about him, but he was sitting right there. And within two minutes of the beginning of the meeting, I was in a shout-down, throwdown argument with him. He kept telling me over and over, ‘Travel bans don’t work.’ And I was saying, ‘Wait a minute. There are 20,000 Chinese coming in to our airports every day. There’s an infection over there in China. They’re burning bodies. There’s smoke in the air. You’re telling me that this doesn’t put Americans at risk?’ And he kept repeating, like a parrot, ‘Travel bans don’t work.’ You can read an excerpt describing the showdown from my book In Trump Time in the post below. The Fauci Diaries: Telling the Lie in His Own Hand What’s interesting is that in his diary—and this is what fired me up—Fauci privately wrote that he was against the travel ban, while claiming to the public that he never opposed the travel ban. But his diary directly contradicts that. This SOB belongs in prison, and he’s indicted not just by what I wrote during the pandemic, but by his own diary. I fought Fauci on the travel ban, on lockdowns, on antivirals like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, and on masks. And every time, I was right. It’s all in his diary. Fauci never admits to any of his mistakes. He just adopts new positions and pretends like he never had the old positions. Why Fauci MUST Rot in Prison shows you how Dr. Frankenstein Fauci—the Godfather of the Pandemic and the Bernie Madoff of Science—using taxpayer money, paid for the offshoring of gain-of-function research. He did this via EcoHealth Alliance, and the money went to a lab in Wuhan that was a dual-use civilian and military lab where the People’s Liberation Army of China studied bioweapons. And the gain-of-function research became very deadly to humans. It’s all in the book. It’s fascinating how, early in the pandemic, Fauci convened a dozen of the most eminent scientists in the world to figure out what the hell was going on in Wuhan. Ten of them told Fauci that the virus probably came from the lab in Wuhan. And the only two who didn’t tell him that were scientists who were deeply involved in gain-of-function research and had a gravy train to protect. Fauci was told that the virus probably came from the Wuhan lab. And the problem, of course, for Tony Fauci was that once he put two and two together and realized that he might have funded the creation of the virus, he did not want to be blamed. And that’s where the great COVID cover-up began. In Why Fauci MUST Rot in Prison, I walk through all of Tony Fauci’s lies, including those on masks, vaccines, boosters, and miscarriages. I go through all the facts, and at the end—which is the payoff—give an opening argument like a lawyer and conclude with a strategy to nail this SOB in both state and federal courts. ( I previewed this and the copy had paragraph breaks but when posted they got removed. I tried folks /-)

For paragraph breaks, insert a < followed by BR followed by > into the text. Insert this combination twice.

Oh, it really doesn’t suck but it is annoying but I’ll learn how to get over it. It will take time though and the wounds will heal.

I will consider forgiveness.
