Trump Asks Supreme Court to Revive His 2016 Election Lawsuit Against Hillary Clinton
Ground ^ | 10/10/2026

Posted on 10/10/2026 6:27:16 AM PDT by Responsibility2nd

On Friday, President Donald Trump petitioned the US Supreme Court to revive his dismissed lawsuit against 2016 Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, accusing her of conspiring to rig that year's election by linking his campaign to Russia.

Trump originally filed the lawsuit in 2022, alleging Clinton conspired with allies to discredit him using a "false narrative" that his campaign colluded with Russia, a claim government officials have disputed.

US District Judge Donald Middlebrooks dismissed the suit as a "two-hundred-page political manifesto," ordering Trump and lead attorney Alina Habba to pay nearly $1 million in sanctions for asserting "frivolous" legal theories.

The Atlanta-based 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the dismissal and sanctions in 2025, finding the litigation used abusive tactics and contained "knowingly false" allegations.

Lawyers for Trump argue the lawsuit's time limit should have been extended to protect the presidency, stating "this court's intervention is necessary" to prevent judicial disagreement from becoming a license to punish advocates.

Somehow El Salvador found a way to get rid of its corrupt Leftist judges. We need something that can replicate that here .

This issue one where Trump is correct.
The highest levels of government made up false information to attack a US President .
I won’t call Hillary a snake in the grass because snakes have more ethics than she does .

He should never have been so magnanimous as to let her off the hook after he won.

The Steele “dossier” is at the center of this.

Hillary funded it. MI6 was involved. Christopher Steele probably got the idea from something he himself did.

The whole thing was a lie.

It was a fabrication. None of it ever happened.

And the American people lost several years of their lives having to listen to the morons in the media go on and on about it.

It takes a very low IQ to blame Trump for this.

How the FBI Lost, Found, and Rewarded the Alleged Russian Spy Pivotal to Surveilling Trump
Real Clear Investigations ^ | 6/1/23 | Paul Sperry
Posted on 6/1/2023, 4:11:39 PM by CFW

Twelve years ago, FBI agents in Baltimore sought to wiretap former Brookings Institution analyst Igor Danchenko on suspicions he was spying for Russia. But the counterintelligence analyst they were assigned to work with ‒ Brian Auten ‒ told them he could not find their target and assumed the Russian national had fled back to Moscow.

But Danchenko had not left the U.S., court documents show. He was living in the Washington area. In fact, he had been arrested in Maryland in 2013 by federal Park Police for being drunk and disorderly, something the FBI analyst could have easily discovered by searching federal law enforcement databases. Clueless, the FBI closed its espionage case on Danchenko.

Auten would quickly rise to become the FBI’s top Russian analyst. In 2016 and 2017, he failed to properly vet the Steele dossier, a collection of salacious allegations created for Hillary Clinton’s campaign which sought to tie Donald Trump to the Kremlin, before clearing it as the central piece of evidence used by the FBI to obtain warrants to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The only topic of discussion should be that the Steele “dossier” was entirely made up.

It would be nice to have a follow up to Nidal Hasan’s last performance with the Hildabeast’s.

THIS is draining the swamp.

This could be the first step in well and truly fixing the electoral system.

I can hardly wait to see what surprises he has in store for his final two years (because you know he's saving the best for last!).

So true.

The media now pretends the Steele dossier never existed.

Because they helped perpetrate its lie.

Hillary paid for the Steele dossier and the democrats joined her.

It’s pathetic that they won’t talk about the creation of the Steele dossier.
