NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Christa Pike has begun walking and eating again at a hospital a week after surviving Tennessee's attempt to execute her with lethal drugs, her attorneys said Thursday.

Pike, 50, survived two doses of pentobarbital as the state sought to giver her a lethal injection eight days ago for the 1995 beating and stabbing death of classmate Colleen Slemmer. The drug didn't kill her, and her arms were left burned and blistered, according to her lawyers. For the first few days of her hospitalization, Pike was unconscious and on a ventilator.
Her first steps on Wednesday were "limited" and she required some assistance as she walked on Thursday, her lawyers said in a statement. She is also regaining mobility in her arms, and she was able to eat for the first time.
But the lawyers warned uncertainty remains about her physical recovery and her legal standing after the attempt to carry out her death sentence.

Boo-f'ing-hoo. Do you know who dealt with worse trauma? Colleen Slemmer, who Pike tortured for an hour before Pike bashed Slemmer's head in with a piece of asphalt. Wheel Pike back into the execution room and give her another injection. Or bash her over the head with a piece of asphalt and get it over with.

That and the DEI witches let her get dehydrated. The whole thing was a set up and now the murderer has a cruel and unusual case she can file.
Better get your mind right...she’s gonna end up with life in prison...and that’s if we’re lucky.
And you might not want to believe this but it’s coming....her lawyer’s are going to argue she should now be set free. The argument will be that it’s not her fault the execution was “botched”.
Mark my words....it’s coming.

The woman was on life support. Why not just let her die? Wasn’t that the whole point of the execution in the first place? So, we’re going to spend big bucks on medical expenses to get her back to being healthy so we can try to kill her again. What’s wrong with this picture?

I was hoping that Pike would have been left permanently crippled and left to ponder her deeds from a hospital bed as an invalid on life support for the rest of her days. Instead, she’s recovering, will probably be spared execution, and is being treated like some sort of inspirational heroine by the mass media - the same people who treat Lindsay Clancy as some sort of martyr.
Has she announced her candidacy for Congress yet?

That's right. They could say the state performed the execution so her sentence has been completed.
So I guess it depends on the wording of the death sentence.
They used to say "Hang by the neck until dead."
If her order doesn't have the "until dead" type clause, she could be sprung.
An Eating Walker. Daryl Dixon could have taken her out with one arrow from his crossbow.
The drugs were also expired. Big Pharma won't allow their drugs to be used for lethal execution yet they'll send the same drugs over to Canada so they can genocide their elderly population to save health care and pensions costs.
