Forty years ago this month, Congress passed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), a law intended as a grand bargain: legalizing millions of illegal aliens while establishing workplace enforcement to end the economic magnet that encouraged illegal immigration. Spoiler alert: the amnesty happened, the enforcement did not.

Paging Captain Obvious...
I don’t think we need immigration — legal or illegal. But, if we are going to allow people to come to America, they have to assimilate. Nothing can be made easy for them. No government aid, no legal documents translated into their native language. No recognition of new foreign holidays. This is America. Be American. And if you demonstrate on our soil, you get kicked out. You shouldn’t be allowed to live in a country that you seem to hate.
Outside of Sandra Day and not defending Bork....perhaps Reagan’s biggest error.
We learned that Democrats can’t be trusted...period! The enforcement provisions in the bill were the Democrats’ compromise for amnesty.
We learned that the people who passed this law had no intention of holding people accountable for hiring illegal aliens. If they did, the hiring of illegal aliens would have come to a end.
Reagan trusted that the Dems would stand behind their word, they did not.

One of the biggest changes in immigration trends today is the outward contempt for America and the opportunistic nature shown by the invaders. Immigration has morphed into nothing more than a third world subversion operation. It is a world-wide phenomena and a trend against the civilized Western world. It can only be described as demonic driven. France and Britain have been lost to the barbarians and it was all self-inflicted. It’s now obvious that third world Islamists and Communists only mission is to gain entry and then undermine and destroy the country from within. Making this trend even more troubling in this country are the invaders who have joined forces with an internal political party, the Democrats, who seek to overthrow our Constitutional Republic. Gone are the days when the Democrats shared common pro-American objectives. It’s now a relentless demolition of civil order brought to us by the Master of Chaos.
