A Nigerian woman living in the United States as a permanent resident in Massachusetts illegally voted in at least two elections after lying about her citizenship, authorities said.
Gladys Adaeze Okafor, 56, has been charged by the Justice Department with unlawfully voting as an alien for allegedly casting ballots in the 2024 presidential primary election and the 2022 midterm elections despite not being a US citizen.
Okafor repeatedly falsified her citizenship status on official documents under penalty of perjury to gain access to the ballot, federal prosecutors allege.
In July 2022, she submitted a voter registration card and signed her name certifying that she was a US citizen, authorities said.
The City of Lynn subsequently registered her to vote.
In October 2023, Okafor submitted another voter registration card where she checked a box saying she was an American citizen, prosecutors said.
She then voted in the 2024 presidential primary election, court documents state.
Okafor was born in Nigeria and obtained lawful permanent resident status in December 2022.
However, she is not a US citizen and has not applied for US citizenship, prosecutors said.
She faces up to a year in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
Recently, seven noncitizens were indicted in connection with an election integrity investigation in Texas.
Earlier this month, the DOJ charged five people in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin in cases involving alleged illegal voting or fraudulent registration during the 2022 or 2024 elections.

* Objective proof that a person claimed to be a citizen for voter registration purposes, PLUS objective proof that they were not a citizen at the time.

Did you ever consider the vast resources required to nab just one of these criminals. Finding them when the state and local registrar fight you, finding the person, building an airtight case that will hold up in court, getting hard evidence, writing up the case, getting a judge to sign off on the warrant, arresting and booking the perp. I wouldn’t be surprised that 1,000 to 2,000 man hours are required per case.
It’s that asymmetry that makes this almost impossible to win. The system was built on personal responsibility and integrity. It counted on an honest electorate. The system simply cannot deal with rogue Democrat regimes that let in tens of millions of these people so it could hang onto power by destroying the sanctity of our vote.
Catching a few of these vermin sets an example to other vermin and may deter a few. But the solution is farther up the voting food chain: Voter ID, uniform standards, getting rid of Motor Voter, getting rid of mail in ballots, getting rid of Election Season.
They could start by arresting all of those who refuse jury duty because they are not US citizens. Texas draws the jury pool from registered voters.

She is coming out of Lynn differently than the way she came in.

One more illegal voter being arrested is better than none at all.
Hopefully, the message is getting out to the illegal alien population that voting is a dangerous thing to do and they all stay away from the polls in November.
Anyone committing voter fraud in America is unworthy of citizenship and should have everything stripped and they should be sent to Burundi or the Congo.

Since Congress won’t pass the SAVE Act, it is going to be a slow process to convict illegal alien voters and then deport them.
As much as I have concerns about Artificial Intelligence, AI will make it much easier to search voting records across the States to locate illegals who have Registered to Vote and/or have voted.
Since Registering to Vote is a crime by itself and Voting makes the crime worse, I foresee a surge in these type of cases.
