Missouri passed a statute this year changing the state Congressional districts that would probably cause the defeat of an incumbent Democrat. Democrats got a unanimous state Supreme Court order last week to use the old map. Supreme Court declined to overturn the order. Meanwhile an appeal to a federal district judge had also been made. A few hours ago, right before the statutory deadline to set the congressional districts for the November elections, he ordered the state to use the new map, which had been used in the primary.

No, this was a Republican gerrymander to eliminate the KC area Democrat district.
