Federal regulators said the two crew members aboard the Amazon cargo jet that crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday survived the accident.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) provided the update during a Sunday press conference after officials said the cargo plane overran the runway and caught fire while landing. The crash killed five people and injured five others, authorities said Sunday.
The jet collided with two vehicles carrying at least eight occupants, according to NTSB Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy.
Seven of the victims were in a van that was struck and "torn apart" on airport grounds, Homendy said. The 2012 white Ford Econoline van was owned by Ocean Service Corporation, a contract cleaning company that provides services for airlines, she said.

I hope they survive, but I don’t think I’d want to be on a plane where they are the pilots. I suspect they’ve flown their last, professionally at least.
Looks like they came in hot, landed long and were not properly configured for landing (flaps and slats).

From what I saw of the plane it looked very unlikely that they would have been killed. One side of the plane was burned up. But I don’t think the fire got inside. Not sure. And they would have not experienced any serious G’s in the crash by the looks of it.

During a stabilized approach the engines are already spooled.
A stabilized approach means fully configured for landing (gear down and landing flaps set), on course, on glide path, on steady target speed (about 140 knots for the B767 depending on weight and wind speed), and the engines spooled up.
My former airline, as most, required a go around if not stabilized at 1000 feet above the ground. The little bit of footage I’ve seen looks anything but a stabilized approach.
The stabilized approach concept was pushed very hard starting 20 years ago.
One can only guess at the caliber of pilots that apply to carriers like 21 Air LLC that operated this flight for Amazon when all of the major airlines are starving for qualified pilots.

With the wheels on the ground the engines should have been spooled up for reverse thrust and the breaks applied.
Release the breaks stop reverse breaking, notify the tower and go around.
There must have been some other problem or the pilots panicked
I don't just say things without researching first. I've done a lot of work looking into their LinkedIn profiles, for instance. I'm not saying that the pilots are DEI, only that the company has done a lot of DEI hiring, so it's very possible.
