According to media reports, a key installation near the Jänschwalde coal plant in Brandenburg was repeatedly targeted with rockets, which emergency crews later found and defused.
Several improvised explosive devices were found at a substation near a coal-fired power plant in Germany on Tuesday and several power lines were damaged, police and a grid operator said.
Operator 50Hertz said there was a "brief interruption of service" but all lines are now back in operation at the Preilack substation, which distributes power from the nearby Jänschwalde power plant.
Police said no one was hurt.
The apparent aim was to trigger a large-scale power outage in the area around the nearby coal-fired power plant. According to initial findings, however, this did not happen.

Never would have guessed Germany had any coal plants left.
I went to the site’s article. What was the photo they used? It was a zoomed-in picture of the evaporators with hugh clouds coming our of them. The editors hope that dummies, leftists and other clueless folks see those clouds as coal smoke rather than what they are - slightly warm water vapor on a chilly day.
