“On August 23, 2026, a video titled "Where to Kill Barron Trump" was posted by Tebyan.net (Iran) presenting operational guidance for assassinating Barron Trump, son of President Donald Trump, presumably as a result of "unprecedented infiltration, through a girl who had sat for a 58 minute private meeting with Barron Trump, bypassing Secret Service Protocols. The video discussed his university, his security arrangements, and ways would-be assassins could infiltrate the student body and recruiting members of his social circle. The video suggested infiltrating Barron Trump's social circle by using platforms with "low digital security" such as social media and gaming apps to obtain information about his classmates, and suggested that this had already been done. It said it would not be difficult to recruit a famous FIFA game streamer to obtain a party invitation and get close to Barron Trump's throat. It concluded by asking: "How many millions of anti-Trump FIFA players are waiting to receive our 10 million dollar prize?" Narrator: "The leaked data in this video is the result of an unprecedented infiltration; the information was provided to us by a girl who, having bypassed the strictest protocols of the America Secret Service, sat across from him for a private meeting with Barron on the 58th floor of the Trump tower.”

If I were his parents I would transfer him to an undisclosed college, under an assumed name, change his security ddetail to include trusted private operatives, and instruct him to stay off social media. The disruption and intimidation that security threats impose on the target is part of the harm they do. Years ago, when I and my siblings were in our teens, my family was the target of threats from the Mafia because my father was the judge signing search warrants that were putting them out of business locally.

Fortunately, the threats never went beyond phone call harassment, scouting visits to our neighborhood by mysterious thugs, and talk of kidnapping the judge's kids. And the FBI had an informant and eavesdropping that would have kept any such plots from reaching the stage of action.

For us kids though, it was miserable because we spent a couple of years as teens on near lockdown, restricted in friendships and activities. In time, the local Mafia ring was broken up by infighting, prosecutions, and prison time.
