Is Mike Pence actually up to date with this subject?
Pence certainly had me fooled during Trump’s first term. He seemed quiet and loyal. Now we know he was leaking stuff left and right and DESPISED Trump. Kind of reminds me of Rubio - seems like a top-notch Republican, now. Is he? He certainly wasn’t in 2013/2014 when he joined McCain and Graham to help Obama in trying to pass Amnesty. That’s enough for me to rule him out for the top job - no way to know if he’ll revert to being a RINO again.
The comedian knows his country will be hit hard with Russian missiles during the winter. So the Ukrainian panhandler is only asking for 5% of our current interceptor missile arsenal at this time.
If these people are so good at drone warfare that a Great Power Nation like the the United States should ‘learn’ from them.
Why can’t they create enough defensive & offensive missiles on their own?

Pence was Hannity’s choice. When Romney picked Ryan, I declared the election lost, just like when McCain picked Palin instead of Romney. When Trump chose Pence, I said out loud “ Trump might still win the election, but if he wins- he won’t be able to govern.”
I think Pence took the job because McCain & Hannity told him Trump would be resigning within a year. Trump did not expect to win the election, was woefully unready to govern, made some good choices like Mnunchin, but Pence & making Paul Ryan House speaker a la Hannity. ( notice Hannity likes Irish people—— Flynn, Kavanaugh, Coney Barrett of Notre Dame Fighting Irish.).— were mistakes, and Trump got rid of dove Yellen, then complained that Powell was a hawk, but then got rid of him because he was a dove during Covid and Biden who was too hawkish under Trump.
Trump spent his first two years in office holding “ I beat Hillary” rallies for his hard core fans, bragging about how he beat Hillary and was the greatest president in history, even though he did not keep many of his campaign promises. He has no real philosophy of governing, and chose all his people off Fox News or based on their looks. I like him, I voted for him 3 times, but I have no delusions that Trump is a super genius playing five dimensional chess or some pompous claim like that. Pence is a fiscal conservative who at least sort of has a philosophy of governing, and is more aligned with what Republicans used to believe in and agree upon. Vance, Trump, even Rubio are sort of loose cannons. Rubio is a wannabe president who pushed an ultra steep tax code in 2016, with the 30% tax bracket kicking in about $80,000. 30% is the top of the Laffer Curve. I think the 30% tax bracket should be at $1 million….even $10 million…..& politically, that is the closest GOP is going to get to a flat income tax….. like 10% bracket to $100,000, 20% bracket to $1 million, 30% bracket to $10 million, 40% bracket to $100 million, then 50% tax bracket. Reagan had a 50% bracket at the top until 1987…. Did not fall to 28% until 1988. Roosevelt said he saved the country from socialism, and his tax code was less steep than Clinton’s ,Bush’s, or Obama’s, Biden’s or Trump’s. Only 1 person made it into FDR’s top tax bracket…..probably nobody would make my top tax bracket because top earners make most of their income in capital gains. When Bill Clinton raised his top tax rate to 40%,tens of thousands of taxpayers created corporations to dodge it, but Clinton foolishly double taxed dividends at 75% at the top, whereas Trump has a corporate income tax at 21% with lots of deductions and a 15% tax on dividends, which is foolish and hurts the GOP. Dividends should be deductible and taxed as regular income. Our corporate income tax still is too high and should be cut or eliminated.
Mike Pence is an uncreative bore and war hawk, but he is not a RINO. He is anti abortion, fiscal conservative, but too establishment for Trump and many tastes. He does not like to rock the boat.
When Trump got elected to a second term, GOP and many independents were so anti Biden, they believed they’d rather be ruled by Putin than by Biden—— and in fact, Russia has a better income tax code and probably a better healthcare system than we do. Biden’s involvement in Ukraine and how he and Kamala dealt with Putin was to a large degree based on hating Trump and beluebibf Putin helped Trump cheat to win. Quite a mess to inherit. What does Pence believe. I don’t like or trust Zelensky, I think NATO should no longer exist…..I like Trump rocking the boat on Greenland, on Cuba……and GOP being careful about Ukraine ….but Putin did think it was a mistake to break up the So jet Union and is lying when he says Russia was promised NATO would not expand, no matter what circumstances. I would like to know what Putin believes about the Soviet Union….is it about communist dictatorship or Russia scope and power. Putin should answer questions about alliance with Ayatollahs and USA should try to turn the Russian people westward again to reject alliances with North Korea and Iran. Hard to like Putin considering those two countries he is friends with, and Trump should say so. Pence is a tool and a fool, somewhat. USA doesn’t seem to want its union dissolved, either….for safety reasons. ..for economic reasons. And Nazis in Ukraine were persecuting ethnic Russians, so it would not hurt to hear Putin out. We went into Kosovo and Bosnia over “ ethnic cleabsing” a fact not lost on Putin.
