Mark Cuban just schooled California representative Ro Khanna on why the “billionaire tax” is such a bad idea. It’s a timely lesson as Google’s Eric Schmidt and Sergey Brin can’t seem to agree on how to make the case against the tax, also known as Proposition 40.
In a revealing exchange on X, the billionaire “Shark Tank” tycoon pointed out that if tech entrepreneurs have to hand over 5% of their wealth anytime their startup companies go public, they will all leave California.
They won’t just leave to avoid paying taxes. They will leave because venture capital funds won’t even invest in their companies if they are California residents. Why would anyone invest in something that is a guaranteed 5% loss?

Of course he tried to deflect criticism of this statement by claiming it was pertaining to Fetterman.
What Cuban doesn’t, or refuses, to understand is that if the DSA does take over they don’t need him, George Soros or any of the rest of them. Because the DSA is going to be in charge of the most powerful military in the world, there will be no place to hide themselves and their money. They will be hunted down like Stalin did to Trotsky.
He’s still a democrat.

The California job market was truly booming when Reagan was president in the 80s. It was truly amazing. I worked here during it and could literally pick and choose where I wanted to work and got hired everywhere I applied, every time. It felt like it could never end, but democrats made sure it did.
