President Trump threatened to ‘bomb the s***’ out of Oman if it continues negotiations with Iran without American approval as the ceasefire with Tehran nears its expiration.
Oman, major US defense ally in Middle East, is negotiating with Iran over a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz by placing the narrow waterway, through which one-fifth of the world’s oil passes, under joint control.
Trump has previously stated that Iran will not be allowed to control the waterway by charging US-backed oil tankers levies or taxes.
President issued dire warning Monday morning during Fox News interview if Oman moves forward with its negotiations: 'If Oman gets in the way, we'll bomb the s*** out of them.'
The Strait of Hormuz has been shut since Iran closed it after US and Israeli airstrikes in late February. It remains a key sticking point in peace talks.
Oman has a history of serving as a friendly mediator between the White House and the Iranian regime.
The country helped broker the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal and has acted as a US defense partner in the Middle East since 1980.
Trump's Monday morning warning to attack Oman is not the first time the president has threatened the US Middle Eastern ally.

In May, during a Cabinet meeting, a reporter asked Trump whether he was comfortable with Oman jointly controlling the strait with Tehran.
'The strait will be open to everybody,' Trump said before being asked who would control it. 'Nobody is going to control it... We will watch over it.'
Trump then turned his attention back to Oman, threatening to attack the country.
'Oman will behave just like everybody else or we'll have to blow them up. They understand that. They'll be fine,' Trump added.

I say, just for a change, our next president shouldn’t be senile.
It’s an international waterway and Oman is using their position as negotiator to steal control that they could never get themselves, nor once they have it could they stop Iran from taking the whole thing. Trump is right to threaten these weaselly chiselers.
Amazing how many accounts here have become bots for the DSA and their foreign controllers.
I think Trump is just venting, but I wish there would be more action and less talk.

Trump is very hinged. They all (IRGC too) love his rhetoric and sweet talk in the Middle East. We are overstocked on GPS guided bombs and glide bombs that can be released 40 miles away to accurately hit IRGC targets.
Glide bombs are bombs that are modded to have wings (that fold in before release) GPS, some have internal optical mapping to find targets too. Some have modest rocket assists bolted on.
I suspect Kabuki theatre where he’s trying to get Iran to cut a deal with Oman (our proxy) by making them believe he doesn’t want it.
Right. And the media all of a sudden is identifying every square mile of sand with camels on it in the Muddle East as a “U.S.” ally.

The world’s worst “ceasefire” is expiring. So, Incendiary words, perhaps followed by half-measures, and TACO time. Rinse, repeat.

Actual IDF troops were deployed.
They accompanied an operational Iron Dome battery.
The Israeli personnel operated the system.
The system reportedly conducted actual interceptions of Iranian missiles.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee subsequently publicly confirmed that Israel sent Iron Dome batteries and personnel to help operate them.
By July 2026, UAE deployment had also been publicly acknowledged by Israeli Transportation Minister Miri Regev.
