Voter ID is crucial to restoring public trust in our democratic process.
That’s why I encourage all Californians to vote yes on Proposition 39 this November and restore confidence in our elections.
“Every vote matters” may be a cliché — but it’s true. In 2024, Orange County Republican Rep. Michelle Steel was defeated by 653 votes. In the Central Valley, Republican Congressman John Duarte was defeated by an even smaller margin: just 187 votes.

It will pass in the mountain counties but betting the cheaters will carry the day like they always do.
Only to have the courts there declare the proposition unconstitutional *after* the whole election process has taken place (and is wasted).
California voters twice passed parental consent for teenagers’ abortion, and it was struck down twice. Then there is Prop 8.
It takes a special kind of legal chutzpah for a State Court to strike down a duly passed Amendment to the State Constitution.
The Kalifornia Democrat machine will never allow it to pass, even if it does.
No chance the filthy rats will allow it to pass no matter how many votes it gets.
Hilarious they are saying we need to vote on this “to restore confidence in our electoral processes”
No confidence means no confidence this will pass honestly
If California won’t pass Voter ID have vote poles inside of Costco you have to show ID to get in.
Oftentimes, legislatures can restrict or prohibit judicial review of legislative acts, but they seldom do this. Since California allows the constitution to be amended by proposition, the state judges have no legitimate say in whether or not an amendment is or is not constitutional unless the amendment contravenes the US constitution. If this is not the case, then impeachment is the remedy, and that will not happen in California.
