Your figures are “non-information” as it doesn’t show the second derivative, or what the direction the debt is taking.

So where the debt stands currently is 'non-information'? Can you genuinely not infer anything from the fact our debt load is nearly twice that of Germany?

Would you judge having twice the debt, and a debt higher than annual GDP, is better or worse? Or is that really beyond your ability to grasp?

We have a GOP Congress and President, and all they've done to a two trillion dollar annual deficit is to try and make it bigger by dreaming up hundreds of billions in new spending.

I believe Trump was betting on Zero interest rates and DOGE impacts. He has neither. We all have seen why it has not happened.

No, I agree with you. There are a number of things I would do relative to the debt, including:
1. An EO that would cut all budgets by 10% and apply those savings to the debt. Any director who couldn’t do that and keep the same or better level of performance would be replaced.
2. Pass the line item veto.
3. Any new spending would be a single bill that would have to pass on its own merits.
4. Congress is bound by the same rules as the public. No more special insurance plans, insider trading, or retirement programs.
