The agency’s subtler tactics in recent months aimed to lull citizens into complacency. Arrests, detentions, and deportations have all increased under new DHS Director Markwayne Mullin.
As a U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin enjoyed a reputation for confrontation and theatricality. He often donned a cowboy hat on the Senate floor (a no-no for a body that prizes decorum) and strode the hallways of the Capitol bouncing a rubber stress ball.
During a 2023 Senate hearing, the former mixed martial arts fighter challenged Teamsters President Sean O’Brien to a fistfight, taunting him to “stand your butt up.” In a separate incident last fall, Mullin “joked” about killing journalists.
Mullin’s confirmation hearing to replace Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security this spring was likewise combative. Sen. Rand Paul—whom Mullin had called a “freaking snake”—challenged his temperament and lack of expertise. “Explain to the American people why they should trust a man with anger issues to set the proper example for ICE and border patrol agents,” Paul said.
Since ascending to DHS, however, Mullin has submerged his ostentatious persona. Unlike Noem, whose shock-and-awe immigration enforcement tactics sparked widespread public outrage, Mullin has been relatively low-key. No dehumanizing videos, no embarrassing cosplay, no obvious corruption.
He’s also built a brutally efficient deportation machine that—until last week—was largely escaping protest from an easily distractible public:

This is terrible. We need to speed up the deportations so the criminals can get home to better conditions pronto.
I enjoyed all the MAGA/ ICE theater, but I’m glad they have made an effort to tone the confrontation down on the media.
It’s smarter. Just so long as their work continues, as unabated as possible.
A government entity should not have the option of getting it wrong. Deport ONE person in even the most justifiable error and heads should roll, and in the most public manner, lest we hand the enemy unnecessary advantage.
This job is too important to give the lefties even the slightest public relations advantage.
Make haste quietly, but any mistake is going to be trumpeted loudly and to great emotional effect in the press.
Best to target the genuine gang-bange4rs first, and send them on flights to an undisclosed South American country that tragically land empty.

That’s 100% correct, IMO, the big ICE show of force in places like Minneapolis allowed the leftwing radicals to gather in force and make a spectacle of everything.
The best way is what is happening now, low key, spread out around the country, they’re so many illegals walking freely out in public, it’s not hard to find them.
Keep moving around, don’t allow the anti-ICE folks to gather in one spot to make a spectacle of everything.
I’ve seen reports of ICE being busy the past few days in Doraville, Georgia. There are also reports of a lot of detentions in Passaic, NJ.

I taught GED in Spanish for a while. All of the adult students were either US citizens, or permanent legal residents.
One day, we were talking about keeping your record clean to obtain employment. I will never forget what one of them stated: "Ah C'mon teacher, the jails in America are like the hotels where I came from."
It is all good.
Markwayne is also an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation (unlike Pocohantas, the fake Indian) and a registered badass.
Why would citizens be concerned? I am happily complacent while ICE works in the background to take out the trash.

In addition to Doraville I am seeing reports in my Facebook page that ICE is all over the Atlanta area makin arrests.
Canton, Marietta, Alpharetta, Smyrna, Duluth to name a few. It’s a beautiful thing.

“Worst or the worst” are the ones who want to stay and continue to get helps while still criminal trespassers! Let alone any other unknown other crimes committed while illegally here.
