Meanwhile, Democratic voters are also picking a candidate in Colorado’s most closely divided congressional district, the 8th District currently held by GOP Rep. Gabe Evans.

As far as GOP candidates go, Kirkmeyer’s ahead of Victor Marx by 10K votes at the moment; Michael Allen looks like he’s going to be the GOP nominee for Attorney General.
I am obviously not from Colorado and have never heard of DeGette before. I checked her electoral history and she has been blowing away opponents in the primaries and the general elections for 30 years. Any clues why she is struggling today? I see that her voting history shows her as “progressive”, but she did vote to send aid to Israel after the October 7 massacres. Is this another one who might be done in by the antisemite vote?
Yes, her opponent has said that the Oct 7th massacre was justified and she would NOT condemn the bombing last year at a pro israel rally in Colorado..basically she hates Jews and for that people are voting for her
