Numerous European Countries have been discussing the imminent implementation of a Digital Services Tax on American Companies. Some of these Countries are close to actually doing this. Please let this statement serve to represent that any Country that imposes such a Tax will immediately be met with a 100% TARIFF on any and all Goods sent to the United States of America. This TARIFF will supersede Trade Deals made with the Country, whether implemented, signed, or not. Additionally, the 100% TARIFF will be immediately imposed, if they proceed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Good luck. I thought Supreme Court ended this tariff business.

No they didn’t. They ruled on one particular law that the original tariffs were based on.

“Good luck. I thought Supreme Court ended this tariff business.”

Last year they ruled on the original technicality but Trump modified his directive.

Europe is treating the US like the enemy, attacking our businesses, while coddling China. It needs to stop. Not sure Nato is viable when it is an alliance with countries who are getting closer to China than us.

Certainly not. Trump has tariff authority under other statutes.Tariffs are in place now, essentially at the same level as those in place under the authority the SC foolishly nullified.

While the Supreme Court struck down his broad emergency tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), he retains and utilizes other delegated powers from Congress
Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974: Authorizes the President to impose temporary import surcharges of up to 15% (for a maximum of 150 days) to deal with large balance-of-payments deficits and fundamental international payments problems.
Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962: Grants authority to adjust or restrict imports of specific goods that threaten to impair U.S. national security.
Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974: Allows the President to take retaliatory action, including tariffs, against foreign governments that engage in unfair, discriminatory, or unjustifiable trade practices that burden U.S. commerce.
Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930: Empowers the President to impose new or additional duties on products from countries that discriminate against U.S. commerce and favor the products of other foreign competitors.

Looting their own citizens is apparently not enough. Now their insatiable greed wants to pick the pockets of Americans. I’m glad Trump is right on top of this.

Section 301,Trade Act of 1974, seems dead on.

I thought Supreme Court ended this tariff business.

I don't think you are understanding how this works.

1.) The people who support Trump get mad about something and demand action
2.) Trump yells, screams, truth-posts, threatens, etc...
3.) He chickens out or allows someone to tell him he can't do it.
4.) All of his supporters shake their fists at the Democrats
5.) All of America loses

It's called "performative governance". It's what he did in Minneapolis. It's what he did with mass deportations. It what he did with DOGE. It's what he did with draining the swamp. It's what he did with Fauci. It's what he did with the tariffs the first time. It's what he did in the crime ravaged cities. It's all he does. It's what he will do this time too.

He doesn't care about us at all. We have been abandoned.

I guess robbing their own people isn’t enough.

They should tread carefully or President Trump will make them feel the pain.

I can’t wait to see the privately funded indoor ballroom. It will be nice seeing the state dinners held in the ballroom instead of tents.

That’d include California, that wants to tax software subscriptions.

All of that, and the citizens pay more for less.

Tariffs are a tax paid by US citizens, by another name.

State dinners exceed the limited capacity of the indoor State Dining Room. State dinners have been frequently held in large tents on the south lawn.

Trump has steel and aluminum tariffs on, he has a global reputation 10% on. There is a cap ex boom in America and it’s not for no reason. It’s not because Trump yells and post on truth. What utter nonsense you spew. He took out Iranian leadership , bombed them for a month and a half and put on a blockade just outside their country. He send the national guard into California. There is no end to the things Trump actually did. There were 120% tariffs on China for about 2 months. Can you name for me of the last Presidents who did anything like this? It’s far more than just words but I’m sure you already knew that.
