Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told U.S. President Donald Trump that Israel does not consider itself bound by the Lebanon clause in the emerging agreement with Iran, Israeli officials said, making clear that Jerusalem will not accept any arrangement that limits its freedom to act against Hezbollah.
The understanding among ministers in the Security Cabinet is that Israel is standing firm on its interests in Lebanon, and that Netanyahu received full backing in the cabinet meeting for his position.
The dispute comes after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Trump and Iran all announced that a U.S.-Iran agreement had been reached. According to Pakistan, the deal is meant to end the U.S.-Iran war and halt military operations on several fronts, including Lebanon.
That clause has become a red line for Israel.

So I guess Trump will defend Hezbollah now against Israel?
I already posted what to do last night (courtesy of Joe Kent)

This is why the U.S. never should have gotten involved with this stupid military campaign in February in the first place.
Iran played Trump’s ego like a fiddle.
All the lovers of islamic terrorism are sorely disappointed.
Don’t be so obtuse.

The used camel traders know a trick or two about deal making , they’ve been at it for thousands of years.
We are allies with Israel. Why would we do a deal where we know Hezbollah will attack Israel and expect Israel to not respond? Some of us are not on the hate Israel train.
Yeah but after Trump's strategy of helping the people rise up and overthrow the regime failed, there was no easy way out.
God has Israel, not the US.
Joe Kent’s plan is stupid…..
But he didn’t help….Iran was being hammered, and he stopped. Got bored of it and wanted to move on. He solved nothing. Gave Iran all they wanted for nothing in return. And threw Israel under the bus as well. This could have been a turning point in history. Instead we have yet another pathetic political defeat.
He should have stuck with invading Greenland .
I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend does not include all situations.

To which I’d add, they have no compulsion at all about lying.
That is foreign to most of us in the West. Our word is our bond. The rest of the world would laugh at that.
Kent is a known operative of the Iranian regime and quit before he was fired for leaking information to help the mullahs.
He should be in prison.
There is a pretty long list of people who should be in prison
Best summed up by ‘Miles Law’.
Rufus Miles, a US Government apparatchik in the 1950s and ‘60s stated “… where you stand depends on where you sit …”.
Gloss over this and move on, because Israel is never going to allow itself to be abused by its neighbors, and who can blame them.
President Trump has done some EXTREME heavy lifting for Israel, not to mention all of Iran’s Arab neighbors, and the world.
He has demonstrated what strong American leadership can accomplish.
Declare victory and get out, start focusing on the midterms immediately.
Nothing is more important for the next two years.
Spoken there like a true politician….
