So we spent a trillion dollars to go from an Arab nationalist dictator who gassed and murdered Kurds, to a Shiite regime that tortures and kills Sunnis. Should have saved the trillion dollars for all the difference it makes. At least Hussein was glad to take American aid and posture as our ally back in the day; the current regime looks more to Iran than the US.

Regarding the strife between Sunnis and Shiites, any and all killing of each other should be encouraged as it reduces the footprint of the cult of pieces on this planet.
