He’s getting pushback (lawsuit filed in Feb) from some veterans’ groups. (who don’t like Trump). They claim it will destroy the sight line between Arlington Cemetery and Lincoln Memorial.
It looks nice on the drawings.

The third pic has north on the top. You can see the cemetery to the south of the E/W road directly between the arch and Lincoln.

So anywhere you stand in Arlington grounds, the arch will be to the left of the Memorial.
