So has Iran "unconditional surrendered?" Have the Iranian people been liberated? Have all the Iranian missile and nuke sites been destroyed beyond repair? Has the IRGC been totally destroyed, like the SS at the end of World War II? Is the Strait of Hormuz re-opened to the free-flow of maritime traffic?
If the answer to any of these questions is "NO" then the U.S. lost.

The US destroyed Iran’s capability to defend itself from the US but left them with the ability to defend themselves from other Arab nations.
I am waiting until Monday, when oil is at $35 per barrel to fill up and buy some Tupperware.

No Iran lost. They lost much of their military. They lost most their rockets and drones. Their leaders were killed. Anyone who says otherwise is not seeing reality. As far as the Iranian people they have had chances but it did not happen.

1945. Japan surrenders. The US gave them 2 weeks to get their house in order before coming in to occupy the place. The country was in shambles and the remaining leaders needed to get their collective thoughts together. Young girls were sent to the countryside.
Perhaps this is what’s happening now. We’ll see.
