Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin’s remarks about customs at sanctuary cities’ international airports have sparked concern on social media.
“If they’re a sanctuary city, should they really be processing customs into their city?” Mullin said in part during an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Monday.

Air travel ports of entry used to be limited. Never bothered me. Houston, Chicage, LA, Miami, SF etc. Houston was home but I often came through Chicago.
Oh well, you reap what you sow.
Sanctuary cities are in open rebellion.
Not as large as the concerns raised by the commie left’s “sanctuary cities.” IOW, Democrat illegal alien dumps.
I’m concerned about how stupid people at Newsweek, Washington Post, NYT, and all the others are..They will get people killed with their stupidity.
Love it! That’s one way to get them to rethink their highly illegal “sanctuary” policies. Hit ‘em where it REALLY hurts.
All the big Dem-run cities are already in deep financial straits. They cannot afford any economic disruption.
Of course, discombobulating airport operations in those cities could make it harder for good people to flee those places.
Sanctuary cities are nothing but Nullification cities.

If they don’t want to enforce Federal law then they have effectively seceded.
And we all know what Mr. Lincoln said we should do about that.

I hope President Trump acts on this idea. “Sanctuary cities” can’t be trusted. These friends of America’s enemies can’t be trusted to run Security and customs check points.

Shut that part down and all the big city libs wouldn’t be able to jet off to and from Davos, Cannes, etc without having to detour thru hick red states. They’d hate it! And their Euroweenie friends would suffer the same fate. Think of all the UN folks who couldn’t just fly in and out of NYC.

DHS controls staffing. They could always prioritize airports that are not located in sanctuary cities and states.
If the Dems win midterms, I see Trump withholding funding for rebellious blue states and cities. There’s plenty of fraud and lawlessness that can justify withholding funds. That’s what the Fraud czar will be doing. Looking for fraud in blue states and cities to punish them.
