One of the most preposterous claims from liberals is that somehow, conservatives uniquely try to win elections by using "fear," "hate" and "division," especially on race and religion. Democrats never use any divisive, negative tactics when trying to motivate voters. It's like they've never heard Chuck Schumer saying a Republican voter-ID bill is "Jim Crow 2.0."
On March 24, PBS stations debuted a long negative campaign commercial disguised as a documentary titled "White With Fear," on how "America's conservative political machine uses racial fault lines to gain power." The 85-minute film starts with Nixon's campaigns, then goes on a tear against Fox News, Islamophobia after 9/11, birtherism against Obama, the Tea Party and then into the Trump era.

PBS needs to be shuttered. Why do I have to pay taxes for these lies?

- Nevermind that the South had been fighting a long rearguard action for decades to try to arrest the Democrat party's steady slide to the left.
- Nevermind that the Democrats had become soft on communism which was anathema in the South
- Nevermind that the Democrats had become soft on crime which was anathema in the South
- Nevermind that the Democrats had favored ever more centralized power in imperial Washington at the expense of the states which was anathema in the South
- Nevermind even that more Republicans than Democrats voted for the Civil Rights Act
- Nevermind that Nixon had been a champion of Civil Rights for his whole career (which is why he got a sizable share of the Black vote no Republican until Trump was to even approach)
- Nevermind that of this supposed great switch, Strom Thurmond was about the only one who changed parties. George Wallace for example was a lifelong Democrat
- Nevermind that the South had a Democrat majority congressional delegation until 1994...a full 30 years after the Civil Rights Act
No No No. Don't let these pesky facts get in the way. That election of Nixon and his "Southern Strategy" is when "everything changed"....and White Southerners only voted for him because of "racism". That's the only acceptable explanation.
Its hilarious some of the bullcrap Democrats and their apologists come up with.
The morons never figured out that by responding to White Southerners by lashing out at them, calling them racist, etc instead of talking to them and trying to understand why they had voted for Nixon, it only drove that wedge in even deeper and made the divorce from the Democrat party inevitable. They repeated the exact same thing with the White Working Class in the Midwest over the last 10 years or so.

PBS gets no Federal funding. No sure about state funding.
Frankly am glad there’s no longer Federal funding so that is no longer an issue.

All public radio and TV stations are state run organizations.
I have seen no evidence that cutting the federal funding had an effect on the public TV in Tennessee or North Carolina. Perhaps some one can clue me in as to how they were actually damaged.
Maybe they got more state funding?
More likely is they found ways to increase efficiency and also that they recurved more donations. And that’s as it should be.
Did they include Lyndon Johnson’s famous racist tape?

PBS doesn’t realize that when muslims get the vote PBS will not be in business very long because sharia law controls speech and publication of information.
I view the Democrats as multi-colored with demons.
