Two weeks to Kiev!
The Russians are being stymied by NATO’s spare parts. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Putin’s office. How does he not see that he should make nice with the West? We could bring him in as a friend if he wasn’t so intent on being hard-headed. Russia is a natural ally against China.

Further to the north, Ukraine has fought Russian forces to a standstill in the area of Kupiansk. Russia had taken it a few months ago but were thrown out in a Uk counterattack. They have made little or no progress in reclaiming it. Russia has made small advances in a few other areas but overall it has not been a good winter season for them.

The real battle is civilizational, between Christianity and Islam, ever since the 600’s, and they won’t stop until we’re either all dead or all converted. I want to build a new Greater Christendom, but I can’t do that as long as Europeans are fighting Europeans. Many of the Western churches have lost their way and the Eastern churches need to step up and step in as our conscience. But this can’t happen when the Russian one is being used for nationalistic purposes. So let’s stop this and concentrate on the real enemy. We need your help in this, as a friend and partner. You don’t need Ukraine, and we neither need nor want to take you over. There’s no reason to be afraid of each other. So let’s work something out.”
There has to be a way to end this and bring the Russians in as a friend and ally in a realigned world order. We’re shooting ourselves in the foot with these internecine European wars. The real problem started in the 600’s, long before any of our modern nations came into existence. We need to realign.

Oh, I agree. I worked at Boeing on the FCS program (Future Combat Systems) and at the Philadelphia site we were tasked with concentrating solely on the logistics aspect of the “FBCT” (Future Brigade Combat Team). I had to work closely with a retired Army colonel who was steeped in logistics lore. You’re preaching to the choir.
