Hillarious, Hungry a NATO country, EU member has to deploy troops to protect its oil supply from Ukrainian attacks....what to expect knowing the West blew up their own energy pipeline Nordstream...where do they find these clowns?

....in any case, the EU is disintegrating, aliens, Islam, unpayable debt, taxes, high inflation.....

The EU should collectively pay for any additional cost for Hungary and Slovakia to obtain hydrocarbons from other sources.

Ukraine is fighting to defend itself. It will do what it can to do so.

Putin can give the ~20,000 pro-Putin people new housing and new workplaces for less than the financial cost of winning the rest of Donbas. Most of the pro-Putin people have probably already fled to RF held areas.

Making that clear to Putin is going to be part of “The Art of the Deal” IMO.

There is no doubt Ukraine will try to hurt Hungary.

Smart move by Hungary.

Hillarious, Hungry a NATO country, EU member has to deploy troops to protect its oil supply from Ukrainian attacks..

And the attacks on Hungarian and Slovakian sovereignty are all supported by London/Davos/Brussels. Not a peep from them about controlling their pitbull Ukraine.

The globalist-marxist ghouls in Brussels hate Orban in Hungary and Fico in Slovakia, so they are engaging in classic disruption, demoralization and color revolution tactics to remove these two.

“ Hungary will deploy soldiers and equipment to protect key energy infrastructure amid what Prime Minister Viktor Orban described as a potential Ukrainian threat”
*****************************************************

That’s actually a wise and prudent move to protect their national critical infrastructure.

Meanwhile there has been no movement by Ukraine or Russia in their “peace talks”. It looks like there will be no movement until one side collapses and has to capitulate.

Place your bets. Russia is adding 35,000 (trained for 6 months prior to going to the front) troops a month, Ukraine is losing more men than it can kidnap off the streets to send to the front with about a week’s training.

Given the destruction of the Druzhba pipeline facility and the loss to Hungary of 86% of its oil ( and 100% of Slovakias oil) …I would say this “claimed threat” is a mild understatement.

Note that given the logistics of oil delivery, Hungary and Slovakia have had since 2022, an EU waiver on sanctions against Russian oil ( which most of the EU themselves are violating by receiving Russian oil)

But petulant Zelensky, denied Hungarys vote to give Ukraine yet more EU money (90 Billion euro) takes matters into his own hands vis these 2 NATO members …..and yet manages to portray himself as the victim of “ Hungarian aggression”

From 24 Feb

Yesterday, Ukraine turned on Slovakia and Hungary. Ukrainian operatives blew up the main node of the Druzhba oil pipeline that supplies 100% of Slovakia’s oil and 86% of Hungary’s oil.

UKRAINE = TURNS ON TWO MEMBERS IN NATO.

FOUR, in fact

If we accept the EU propaganda that the Nordstream explosion was the work of some Ukraine special forces guys using a rented sailboat - then that means Ukraine ALSO attacked the energy infrastructure of Germany and the Netherlands.

Ukraine seems intent on waging war on NATO. And yet no Article 5 gets triggered.

Weird - so who really controls these Azov thugs?

There is no “Art of the Deal”. It’s smoke and mirrors.

All I have seen of it is the “deal making” of the mafia. Do what I say, or I’ll break your legs or kill you”.

That’s not a deal. A deal is a meeting of the minds where both sides agree to something.

Ukraine, that shining example of a democracy and a nation which respects free speech, is known for not being corrupt, and excellent human rights needs defended.

For the cause of sovereignty we need to defend Ukraine, russia has no right to a sphere of influence, and Ukraine is led by a hero.

Ukraine has absolutely no Nazi problem.

If we don’t stop those communist Soviets in Ukraine they will parachute into Texas next month, that is after they come storming through the Fulda Gap. Nope, old obselete cold war cliches weren’t used to peddle off this nonsense war.

We need to keep this going because Ukraine is winning! Yes, those Russians took 1 billion casualties, fact checked. Everyone is repeating this, so it must be true! Besides, Russia hasn’t invaded Mars yet, so that means they are losing.

Did I miss anything?

Absolutely. You don’t believe the 2nd biggest country in Europe and its people have a right to their own language, culture and national identity separate fron the corruption, filth and misery of the Russian World. Marxist Democrats feel the same about nationalist American patriots and the US. Congratulations on the ideological company.

Trump, not Europe, gave Hungary a one-year exemption. But, what cards does Trump have in his deck?

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp85dvnkpv4o

Trump, in pursuit of his isolationist policies, has cut off aid to Ukraine and has antagonized Europe. So, Trump no longer has many cards to play with respect to Ukraine.

As for Hungary, look at a map. Ukraine and Poland together cut Russia off from the rest of Europe. Hungary and Slovenia are just going to have to deal with the reality that until the war in Ukraine is over, they’re no getting any energy from Russia.

We, the U.S., could provide an alternate supply of oil and natural gas, coal as well, but we should have already built the infrastructure to so.

A few years ago, we thought Russia would never attack Europe, as Europe was the biggest market for its oil and natural gas. It turned out other considerations were more important to Russia than economics. I could say the same thing about China (we though economics would cement a future of peace if not evolution to democracy). So, we and the Europeans declare a peace dividend. We cut back on military spending. Hungary included. Now, in the face of Russian belligerency (and Chinese, Iranian, etc.), we have to rebuild our military. In recent years, Hungary moved military spending up from 0.9 percent of GDP, to 2.3 percent. Good for Hungary.

This war started because of NATO East expansion, not when the Russians invaded.

You cannot get around this fact: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/

The Russians didn’t even have a large force on Ukraine’s border and took 3.5 months to bring the forces into to position for this invasion which BTW was never intended to take all of Ukraine which would be a permanent resource drain on Russia (they don’t want the more nationalist areas).

But yes, the ethnic Russians in what was once Eastern Ukraine do have a right to belong to the nation they culturally identify with, ESPECIALLY after Ukraine put their boot on their neck post 2014 and even worse once Mr. Z was elected.

Get a clue, don’t play chicken (racing towards a war) with someone ~3.5 times or more your size, even if you have a big brother (the US) telling you he’s got your back. It’s just not smart.

This is an Article 5 offense against NATO countries by the Ukraine This act of irresponsible and destructive aggression clearly demonstrates that the Ukraine is militarily aggressive and reckless which is why the US simply cannot extend formal military security guarantees to the Ukraine under any circumstances.

The risk of the Ukraine engineering a conflict with Russia to re start the war and draw the US directly into on the ground armed conflict with US troops in Ukraine in a future conflict is an almost certainty with the current leadership .

With the current Ukraine and EU leadership, demands for American security guarantees as a condition any peace agreement are nothing more than a trap to re ignite the war in Ukraine at some future date and to ensnare the US military into direct, boots on the ground military intervention and unrestricted flow of free arms to Ukraine at some future date when the proxy warriors are back in power
