Bet on the swamp. 90% of leftist ideologues are for sale.
The only question is the price...which is often a massaged ego ... and maybe a little material comfort.
I wish they were for sale. I’d love to purchase an abolished agency, but they’d never sell that at any price. For them the administrative state must be protected at all costs and there is no price.
But that’s bribery, yeah what’s a few years in jail for the correct outcome.
You’re going to come visit me in my cell and you’re going to ask me, “What are you doing in there??” and I’m going to ask you
“What are you doing out there?”
Thoreau was genius.
The surprise for me is followers of Siddharta Gautama are up 56%.
Hollywood and numerous celebrities have glorified the Buddhism celebration. I remember an Imperials song from 1980, “Oh Buddha,” that comes to me when I see a statue of Gautama.
About 25 years ago, I would visit a New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT—IKBU) temple (in an office building in a suite). I learned many came to it after being in Episcopalian (liberal Anglicans, read Frank Laisey’s “It’s Not About Sex” in relation to the Anglican Schism). They deny so much in that faith, I am not surprised they were moved into NKT Buddhism from there.
All they teach is happiness, nothing else.
