It is the internet warriors who say you need to carry over 50 rounds of ammo everywhere you go. Time and again we see that a small number of shots, if any at all, are enough to make 99% of perps flee in fear.
The same internet warriors will tell you that .380 bounces off human skin and nothign less than 9mm +P+ is enough to damage human tissue and 10mm is better.
The point is, carrying anything is likely to make a positive difference in your survival and other positive outcome, 99% of the time.
