Good post. More and more it appears that the Ukraine War hawks are playing for a "decent interval" between the inevitable withdrawal of Western money and support, and the collapse of the Zelensky regime and its concessions to end the conflict.

It's certainly not about any strategic vision or substantive plans for resolution. It's all about timing and politics. And they're more than willing to fight to the last Ukrainian to have their "pro-democracy" fig leaf.
