For about 2 days, I entered the world of nonprofits and grant writing. The grants could be a one-time offer, or ongoing, yearly support. They also could be private foundations, or public, taxpayer dollars.

The “grant writing seminar” was run by a certain nonprofit that was in the running to receive the grant. The Request For Proposal (RFP) portion of the seminar was ridiculous. It was run by the same non-profit. They crafted the RFP so that they were the most likely to receive the $$$. The fix was in.
