Minnesota is still reeling from the biggest fraud scandal in its history. A sprawling, stunning, almost unbelievable heist of federal money intended to feed hungry children during the pandemic.
And at the center of the storm sits Aimee Bock – former schoolteacher, mom-of-two, and the woman federal prosecutors branded the mastermind of a $300million meals-for-kids scam.
Bock is already convicted. She's already behind bars. And she's facing a sentence that could lock her away for most of the rest of her life.
But her lawyer, Kenneth Udoibok, says she is nothing more than a scapegoat – the fall-girl for a feeding frenzy of fraud that state officials should have stopped, but didn't. In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Udoibok unleashed an extraordinary broadside at Minnesota's highest officials, including the office of Democratic Gov. Tim Walz.
He claims they worked closely with Bock's nonprofit, Feeding Our Future (FoF), were fully aware of her program's work and ignored massive red flags as millions of federal dollars gushed out the door.
'Members of the Minnesota government who were directly or indirectly involved in this food program have not been prosecuted,' said the Minneapolis-based lawyer. 'Who in the Minnesota government has been fired, disciplined, or taken responsibility? No one.'

Such an odd title or first name for a person who presents as male. Probably chocked up to either sheer ignorance or a lame attempt at outrageousness. Either way fail!
Why is it that when someone hits the red highlighted link at the bottom of the article he is into a vast wilderness where the piece is hidden?
First remove their federal & state tax exemptions.
Second, make them criminal & civil liable for the behavior of the refugees they sponsor.
Third total financial transparency & publicly audited (Can download a pdf of their balance sheets). Also complete listing\acknowledgement of their subcontractors.
Do those three things in order to have a license to operate.
Do those three things and most of them will disappear.

Shut down every penny that goes overseas even those that supposedly help here at home but then do get laundered out of the country. Trump could put a year long moratorium on ALL public funds and look at seeing which groups need permanent cancellation. Then restart programs by application first, no ,money going anywhere until strict background checks have been concluded and a vigorous check to see if the programs really serve the US people or not.
This does NOT apply to privat or Christian groups with Private funding, but they too should go thru a vigorous background check to see if they are truly a Non- Profit.
Is anyone watching the books? Are there no audits? No receipts? Any system of accountability?

Well, yes, because now is the correct time to maximize the information she has to trade for reduced sentencing, better conditions in prison or the big pinata of commutation.
Maybe she has information implicating Walz that could lead to indicting a sitting Dim Governor. What’s that worth to the Trump administration for the mid-terms? Possibly turning Minnesota red.
For about 2 days, I entered the world of nonprofits and grant writing. The grants could be a one-time offer, or ongoing, yearly support. They also could be private foundations, or public, taxpayer dollars.
The “grant writing seminar” was run by a certain nonprofit that was in the running to receive the grant. The Request For Proposal (RFP) portion of the seminar was ridiculous. It was run by the same non-profit. They crafted the RFP so that they were the most likely to receive the $$$. The fix was in.
I wonder how much life insurance this woman has.
If a Non Governmental Organization goes out of business when the governmental money stops then it was never a Non Governmental Organization.
