FBI Director Kash Patel is facing withering criticism from an alliance of active-duty and retired agents and analysts, days after the White House denied media reports that the president is about to fire him.
A troubling new report card on the first six months of Patel’s leadership concludes he is “in over his head” and his deputy, Dan Bongino, is “something of a clown,” according to the alliance, which in two previous reports warned about crippling DEI and politicization of the FBI during the Biden administration.
The Patel-led FBI is described in the 115-page report as a “rudderless ship” and “all f–ked up.”

I don’t think I’ll ever see a more antagonistic bunch of sleazebags than the swamp bottom scum-suckers that they are in the Democrat Party and RINO circles. A close 2nd would be the violent and some non-violent criminal migrants and their supporters.
Trump don’t pay it no mind until the SCOTUS gets involved. That’s a hallmark characteristic of his, and the HUGEness of the balls he has is something that the entire world should be thankful for.
Patel likes the cameras too much. He should purge any Obama/Biden FBI holdovers who had a hand in this hit piece and are sabotaging his job.
Dan Bongino does not need to ‘build his resume’ — he left a multimillion per year job to serve this country.

It would seem like the “old school FBI’s” would have a far easier time righting the ship under Kash than Mueller, Comey, or Wray.
Hey, didn’t FBI agents lie to the FISA courts? I haven’t heard about them being fired, let alone charged, found guilty and sent to prison.
Further, Devine noted the group seems legit and have been supportive in the past, so it is disconcerting. Equally disconcerting, however, is the 'old school' factor.
On balance, I'm happy with their accomplishments to date.
I’m having trouble determining the authority or veracity of the “report card”, or even its author. Was it AI generated? How did the report card, which seems to speak on its own behalf, come to its conclusions?
Patel and Bongino claim the evidence proves the Butler assassination attempt was by a lone wolf.
I will never trust them again.

yes - but identifying/investigating/righting the wrongs of last decade, cleaning out Swampsters burrowed in, doing normal national FBI work, responding to new incidents, etc - it’s a lot. Patel may be more of a cop than a manager. anxious to see how Potus treats him at Cabinet meeting today.
