You're equivocating: maybe Russia has not seized EU funds, but it certainly has confiscated the holdings or forced the sale of EU company assets in Russia.

I also seriously doubt Russia holds much if any "EU" funds, as they would also be deposited in Euroclear or the ECB, not in Russia.

Welp, looks like Russia is going to lose it all. That’s all going to be helpful when Ukraine has to rebuild Donbas and Crimea after the Russians leave.

Even their shadow fleet is starting to be interdicted and impounded as it should be.

One of their cargo planes reportedly had to divert to Cuba when they were denied landing in Venezuela by the US Navy. It’s sad the USN didn’t force it down and confiscate both the plane and its cargo.
