It being a deep well is more important than it being close, but it's a shame it couldn't have been both. LOL! At least you can drive over there...walking over would be very uncomfortable. At least these chilly temps are very temporary. Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 60, so there is that. The roller coaster 🎒 is alive and well

It’s a bit of a walk but I don’t mind walking to the well house when the weather’s nice. Not very nice out there tonight though.
And yep, having a deep well is important. When I had to get a new pump a little while back, it had been very dry here and they pulled the old one up, the pipe was wet about 30 feet above the pump. The pump doesn’t sit on the very bottom. The well guy remarked on how lucky I am to have a good water supply.

I wash our chilly temps w ere temporary. We’ll stay chilly. I’m keeping a close eye on weather reports because there’s a chance for sleet or freezing rain early Tues. morning. Most likely north of here but it just takes enough of a dip in the temp ......
