The Trump administration’s bid to systematically lock up nearly all immigrants facing deportation proceedings has led to a fierce — and mounting — rejection by courts across the country.
That effort, which began with an abrupt policy change by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on July 8, has led to a tidal wave of emergency lawsuits after ICE’s targets were arrested at workplaces, courthouses or check-ins with immigration officers. Many have lived in the U.S. for years, and sometimes decades, without incident and have been pursuing asylum or other forms of legal status.

Ah, the old ‘many have” routine. Judges tend to live in an undortunate social bubble in which much of their contact may, in my opinion, come as a result of labial-anal osculation from attorneys. They’re okay with books, but otherwise...
Concentrate on getting rid of Biziden’s millions first.
So 91% are RAT or RINO appointees. Judges are just politicians with the right connections.

WE THE PEOPLE elected President Trump in record numbers and I would think that would override 220 idiotic judges opinions. He told us what he was going to do and we agreed!!!!

Then only determine whether they are here illegally or not and dismiss it right there if they are here illegally. Easy peasy.

They're certainly going to do the same to us if they ever seize power again.

Despite the government’s broad power over immigration, the Supreme Court has recognized that aliens who have physically entered the United States generally come under the protective scope of the Due Process Clause, which applies "to all ‘persons’ within the United States, including aliens, whether their presence here is lawful, unlawful, temporary, or permanent."
All of those lower court decisions are subject to appeal in a higher court including the Supreme Court. Don’t worry folks this will all be cleaned in the wash.

My first thought was, how many of those 220+ decisions have already been struck down by the SCOTUS?
I suspect the author didn’t even try to find that info.
Just look at the number of foreign born judges making these rulings.
Foreign born females, and on top of that they are lawyers.
They are exasperated that Trump is carrying out the law.
