My 12 year old’s Catholic School is very formal, while I prefer first names talking to teachers and principal, they demanded Mister & Misses, so I stated my proper formal prefix is Colonel, which the principal now uses for me. He did question if that was really acceptable since I am retired Army.

Gosh, I don’t know why everybody is so worked up. After all, one of the Seditious Six has evidence for what they are saying. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) has seen an actual movie in which following an unlawful order plays a major role. Hey, this isn’t just any old movie. It starred none other than A-lister Jack Nicholson. I wish everyone would consider that.

In 3 days, I’ll celebrate the 41st anniversary of my departure from active duty. On that day I went from Captain Night Hides Not to just plain old NHN. I don’t recall ever referring to myself as “Captain” once I became a civilian.
