I think that was his intention all along. Trump is like a cat that plays with its orey, prior to taking it out, just for the fun of it.

Trump loves to employ theatrics into his games to get what he really wants. Now, the Democrats will be all for it, since they have something on Trump, but the majority of those involved are Democrats, not Republicans.
